Hello again. The last week has been an especially busy week for text art. I've been seeing some amazing work in typography and misc. text.

I spent the entire day plugging other people's art work in #thumbsshare. This is a dAmn chat room in which you can post your artwork in real time. I'd like to thank the people of this chat room for being so hospitable to me. As I find new art work I'm going to go in there and show people what's happening in the text art gallery.

Whenever I am on the website doing administrative work I can be found in #textart. So far I'm the only one joining this channel and if that continues, that's fine. If you see that I'm online and you want to talk to me jump in there and I'm very available to have a conversation with you.

ASCII/ANSI Conversion Policy

Over the last few weeks I have been in touch with deviants that submit this type of art. If you have any input about conversions then please note me. We need to figure out as a community how we want this art form to be represented. I also need the long standing community to make some noise. Please make me spend hours reading your input about this topic. If you feel strongly enough that you want some resolution about this I want to see every single one of you to note me about your art work. I know there's a couple of you that watch me that could get this crowd pumping. Come on! Let's pump this up! Get it into your journal space!

Typography is good but they got me on board because I understand you guys.

I'm an ASCII/ANSI Artist. Why Aren't You Looking At Me Yet?

Because to be quite honest we need to generate activity in typography in order to see the traffic that we really want. For now I try to engage people on the personal level about this. I would really love to see some more tutorials about this topic.

You really need to trust me on this. My background is in marketing and new media. We'll have this handled.

For The Next Week

I'm going to be quiet for a little while. I have a lot of political things in my life that I need to settle. Look forward to upcoming news about contests and events regarding the text art gallery.
